Got an 07 LC with what looks to be a third brake light leak. Bought one from the dealer but was wondering if you guys are adding any sealant around the light and if so what?

yes, i added GE black silicone sealant, and it's been good so far.

Figured I’d update it
Did not use any sealant - so far so good, have had some good rains and tried it out with a hose and seems to be cured. Once the new was in noticed it sat a lot more flush and true which was a good sign to me.

Pull it off.
Clean up the mating surface and install windoweld 1/4 or 3/8 inch roll will work.
Don’t over tighten fasteners upon reinstall.
Very confident windoweld will last a decade.
