Hello,
I recently just did my power steering lines and steering rack myself. I noticed the high and low pressure lines are leaking where they connect to the steering rack. I could not torque them to specs as I did not have enough room. If I take it to Toyota would they torque them down and fix the leak. It’s definitely noticeable and leaks a bit when I start it. Is there an easier way to toque them with the stuff in the way so I can avoid the cost? I was using a short wrench because that’s all I could fit. Please let me know. Thank you.

Did you replace the gaskets (2 copper, or one horseshoe style) on the HP line.
Did you secure the lines to the rack, with their brackets.

There's plenty of room to torque both. HP banjo bolt, with tall socket or socket with extension. The LP flare nut, with a flare nut socket on extension.

Yea I replaced the gaskets. I couldn’t find enough room. What angle are you going from?

From under the front of vehicle oil filter off. Just the same as when removing flare nut and banjo bolt. Standard size 3/8" drive torque wrench.
