hehe :D

Maybe get a beater truck down the road, but I am gonna be careful in themeantime and drive it like it was meant to be driven :D ( not doing anything hardcore here fellas, just doubletrack / jeep trails, no rick crawling )

But i hear ya, theses things are damn billy goats on the hills :)
It is like racing motorbikes at the track, every corner you want to enter and exit faster and faster until you find the sweet spot before you push the tires and throttle control to the limit hehe >,

I will resist that temptation for the sake of the truck, it is not like my track bike :)

Thanks guys :D

good lord, live like you want and drive the truck where you want. It's there to be enjoyed. :)

:D

In the end it is just a truck :)
Not like i intend on bashing it into rocks etc :)

Again, not a hard core offroader, just fun and exploration, fishing camping exploring :)

excited for summer, found some cool old fire lookouts here in oregon that have some remote fun roads out to them, cheap and views you would not believe :)

Hey Destin, why are you on line? It's Friday...shouldn't you be out and about taking pictures...I want to see more pics of the 40 on some trails :D

yeah...mine does that...but its pretty far below and in the center of the bumper...if it can get centered on the side and have the bracket that mike makes around it and its placed in front of the shackle IMO it shouldnt be all that bad...just a thought :)

mike could also munkey around with the hieght and probably not have it too far down at all

I dont want to derail destins thread...but...heres a pic ...it does seem like it would fit just above the bumper and below the fog light if a bracket was created to fit it like this (sorry LITP I didnt have an AZ plate to copy over LOL ):

I swear I just recently saw a picture of someone who made a bracket to do this - and I swear one of you - JohnnyC, Living in the Past, or someone - posted a picture of it. Can anybody help me? This is the only thread I could find where it was mentioned.

Thank you Johnny, you called it "front bumper plate" so it wasn't coming up in my search for license plate - at least not obviously to me.

Sorry to hijack your thread Destin...
