hmmm, seeing the the aislin 1bl carb floats are discontinued... to you think these old tracker floats would swap in?

I do not have the original float in mine, so i am just curious.
Any one have a stock photo of their early big window carb float?

btw pipe with the outlet to the heater is backwards. the outlet piece should face to the side not toward the rear. at least that's what the book shows

not that it matters..
 
sucks waiting for paint destin huh? been intently following this build great job!

i picked up my first FJ right before thanksgiving and had to fly to the east coast until jan 1st. so i just have a few pictures of my rig, the mud forum and awesome builds like yours to live through till i get back...

diagram 16-03: RADIATOR & WATER OUTLET
( made a copy / can`t deliver it in a better quality / don`t know why it`s white on black and not black on white :confused: )

copy my diagram store it open it and you have it in BLACK AND WHITE
(tried it, it works ) :)

after the paint is finished, final coat etc...

Is it smart to "bake" it to cure it?

I remember shane saying he backed his jack after painting for an hour at 150 degrees...
I know for CERTAIN, my wife will not let me put it in the wolf range haha!

What are my options?

Ideas?
