Destin, what are your plans for that *nasty* thermostat housing?
Your build is looking great...
hehe, you mean am i gonna clean it up?
Yes. Not being critical. But everything else looks new!
I had to clean mine up (82 BJ42) earlier this year. I used JB Weld to fill some of the corrosion dimples. Worked great!
that and it's not original :whoops:
Hi Destin I don't like butting in but the timing gears are not just going to fall off. The best way is to remove cam and press off. Otherwise on the fibre one you may have to drill or cut the hub off cam, then drill and tap cam to put it back on. Do not lever too much on gear to pull it off or you will break cam retaining plate. I hope I have not scared you too much, don't forget to time the gears, so have fun. Cheers Fred.
looks like Dobster's is the same way.
One of you cats gonna hook me up with a spare thermostat housing ?

Destin,
What are those angle iron chunks on the front center of the frame for?
every time you put another part on all i can say is....ooooooo ahhhhhhh
hows the gear going?
The green really sets it off. Very nice.
Destin, any chance you can clean the lens on your camera? Many of your recent photos are coming through a little soft. I think your lens is smudged.
Don't forget about the wrenches on the right front frame rail!
