anyone use Delphi GN10311 ignition coils ?

How has your luck been with them

How about the set of 8 for 65 bucks on amazon anyone have good luck with them ?

thanks for your info

Yes I know I should get denso or toyota but doing that would cost almost as much as I paid for the LC lol

Are these the ones, that have "lifetime warranty" in one part of their description and "no warranty" in another? Delphi makes top shelf coils, I use them in 3 other vehicles, but this looks too good to be true. Genuine Delphi doesn't cost so much less usually. If those are genuine Delphi, id grab and run.

YEC Flamma IGC107F - is a great alternative, if they are still less than Denso. Made in Japan. I use them.

Is the truck misfiring? Why do you need to change them all?

I am having it stall when stopped and sometimes while driving get a thunk like a missfire I have never gotten a code or light. I replaced the fuel pump and filter and now figure the next step is messing with the coils.

If I can get a set of 8 for 65 bucks and no the set of 8 is not delphi but with 240K miles on it and not knowing if they are the original coil packs I figure why not swap them all for the price of 1 I am going to be doing the plugs anyways so they all will be coming off. I can save the stock ones to use as replacements if the cheap ones fail.

I asked about the delphi because they had one in the amazon warehouse deals at 18 bucks.

I did the 8 for 80 on Amazon, three died in a very short period of time. I swapped the originals from '98 with 225K back in, replacing two of them with denso's for $45 each and it ran smoother than the 8 for 80 ever did.

Many bootlegs on ebay and Amazon not worth a dime. Last year, I purchased a set of coils for $35 each off ebay. They claimed to be Toyota OEM. Upon receiving and inspecting I found to much questable with them, so I returned them.

I recently found a coil misfiring, No CEL No DTC on low mileage engine (~100K).

Found while hooked up to tech stream. I was shifting between gears and putting engine under load to bring up transmission temp when I spotted it; a misfire in #1. I replaced the one coil and misfire went away as did thunk. Idle & power curve was good, but I felt it could use improvement. We went ahead and replaced all coils with Denso from sources believed reliable. This was my first time not using Toyota/Denso direct form Dealership, so I was uneasy. But did get improvement yielding better starting, idle and power curve.

All boots of old coils were in very good condition which is important. But I've become one of those in the camp that believes; as coils age they weaken and fire unevenly. This doesn't mean they can't keep working for a long time, just not as well as all new.

I used the flamma they were highly recommended on my lexus board. No issues so far.

I bought used OEM coils off of ebay for a $10 a piece shipped. Works good! My Philosophy is Buy OEM new or used, DENSO or AISIN brands and nothing else.
