Put Robin down for Yams as long as we will have a way of reheating them for the marsh mellows once we get there .

Done and yes, we will have a way to reheat things.

I've got a couple 20lb bags of Kingsford I'll bring for the charcoal grills. And a chimney starter. And a Bacon Explosion for the Friday Night Few. I'll also bring my turkey fryer and one 20lb gas tank. I'll do boiled peanuts Friday night or Saturday morning.

Done, thank you!

Hey Johnny, we will bring desserts and appetizers.

Brownies, dip and chips, and other finger foods.

^^ I think I saw one of those in Lowe's the other day as well.

The military doesn't have crap on the tech world for acronyms. Yesterday I learned that my IPCC application can be accessed and controlled using an API, via REST or SOAP requests, which are transported by HTTP or HTTPS, that leverage either XML or JSON content types. Of course for the request to be sent across the network, you have to have your TCP connection set up properly, or SSL connection if using HTTPS, then IP packet has to be routed by your favorite routing protocol, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, EIGRP, IGRP, RIP, etc, and that's if you don't have an internet provider! Once you've done that, you need to make sure that your L2 infrastructure has converged via STP and that you have no MAC conflicts. Finally, you have your various physical connections. Don't even get me started on VoIP acronyms, But I digress.

Sadly, I understood both this and the military post. :)

Just stumbled on this post and trying to work this trip - since I've joined ONSC awhile ago and never been able to make a meeting.

Cboyd, you will have a blast! I don't know if you have been wheeling in Uwharrie, but it tons of fun. The Christmas party afterwards is awesome. We are hoping to camp Friday and Saturday night but we have other commitments on Sunday that are time sensitive.

Johnny, you asked earlier and I didn't answer. It will be and the family (wife, 8yr old, and 5yr old) and maybe the beagles.

BTW, I have some cool firestarters I want to try out.

Julie and I will bring New England Fish Chowder (Mahi) along with small bowls and crusty bread or oyster crackers - can be pre-meal appetizer.

Mike

Excellent!

Come on out man! If I were to pick an inaugural ONSC trip to make, it'd be either this trip or the meet and greet in Feb.

Awesome, thanks Jonathan! I love fire :D

Sadly I may have to back out from this.... had a mini flood at the house last night and have to spend time and $$$ replacing laminate wood flooring and drywall in the ceiling as well as clean and dry the carpet, replace pad and maybe a floorboard or two in the 2nd floor. Perfect thing to happen right before we put the house on the market

It will be a game time decision for me.
