Dashbaord Swapping/upgrading from 1998 hdj100r to 2003+ hdj100r (10 Viewers)

I want to upgrade my toyota land cruiser 2001 hdj100r dashboard to 2003+ i have seen many people across the countries doing this such as in india pakistan
Please give me advice is this okay ?

Mostly because US Version (LEXUS/LAND CRUISER) are very luxurious and full optioned with leather Trims Navigation Alloy wheels vice versa
but mine one is From United Nations from auction and in developing cuntries mostly Land cruiser comes with semi full option with steel wheels instead of alloy wheels despite my one being VX Turbo Diesel Grade

Is your cruiser is manual and independent front suspension? Do you have electronic AC/Heater controls? If those are manual, why not keep it manual, because electronics cannot last long as manual and finding cruiser parts in Nepal may be very hard. Don't you get Japanese used parts in Nepal?

Ya we get Very easily But my one is Toyota Land cruiser vx 2002 manual transmission Pictures in this post are from google as My vehicle is currently in Garage for paint i am unavail to click pictures. and yes independent front suspension also (IFS) I Just want to replace my old and classic looking dashboard to this One which seems more civilized But here agent would order this dashboard from DUBAI Please feel free to advice me

Hello guys i would be posting my dashboard upgrade project updates hope it helps someone in future

First of all i don't know why they differniate and varities thier model so much they have diverse trims in 100 series as well as 90 for example same year 100 series vx has double ac but other same trim does not same one comes with wood trim and leather but another same trim comes with normal again one comes with alloy another with steel same trim both vx

So because of this i decided to upgrade my dashboard
So i contacted my parts supplier which is one the best nepal which also supplies to toyota delaer if dealer does not get
Here are parts required for 98-02 to 03-07 dashboard upgrade
Dashboard cost 1300USD

REGISTER Blower No.2 : 170USD

REGISTER Blower No.3: 210usd for both registers no 2 and 3 i prefer wood trim at same cost no change in cost but it depends on your taste buy accordingly to your taste

Most importantly great thing is reinfrocement is same as 98-02 even register assy blower no 1 and 4 are same (DRIVER SIDE VENT AND PASSENGER SIDE VENT)

glove box and driver side lower panel also fits same with cigratte lighter panel YOU JUST REPLACE THOSE FROM OLD DASHBOARD TO NEW ONE.
After everything main obstacle here is wiring of HVAC

SO I AM WORKING ON IT AND MY MORE PARTS ARE ARRIVING I WOULD KEEP UPDATING THIS POST AS I PROGRESS

I think the wiring harness is different as well so you will need that

So if the 03+ dash fits an 01, would it work vise versa? I'm trying to use parts off my '99 and avoid the nav delete.
