Well I've seen a few Can Am Commanders come through with 10k and running strong, I don't ever deal with Polaris so I can't really comment but some of these high mile UTVs are doing pretty well. Not so much the Arctic Cats though. I'd stay away from the Wild Cats, whoever was interested in those. With the higher mileage Arctic Cats you see a lot of wheel bearings, seals, etc etc They tend to eat parts. Those Wild Cats eat engines too. Though the suspension is impressive. The Can Ams with 10k have a little bit of slop and maybe wear through a few parts but are holding up pretty damn well. If I ventured a guess, I'd say the rzr chassis will hold up pretty similarly. Either way... I was just curious, as you can put a lot of off road miles on a side by side in a hurry.

I hear what you're saying, but there are reasons outside of reliability that (at this moment) swing it the AC direction (pro deal type thing). That said, the Wildcat is 1/3 less dollars then its comparable RZR, that buys a lot of wheel bearings - and, according to Artic Cat, the motor issue is fixed... trust me when I say this; if it isn't, the entire world will hear about it through me.

Whachu doing on here Brit?! I seriously can not wait to see this rig this weekend! It's the onliest reason I'm going to World of Wheels on Sunday! literally! This RZR is the baddest I've ever seen, and I've seen quite a few dozen very high dollar RZR's at races. But this one... I'd own.

Sure, wanna run the con, bring the dog and the kids, a canoe, and drive straight home? Certainly, in a 40.
I'm not saying the RZR isn't capable, I see them on the trails up here all the time, but I'd rather have the comfort and capabilities of a true multipurpose rig than have to trailer this whole setup to the con just to have an interesting build.

I can't even try to compare a 40 to a RZR, because the only thing they have in common is 4 tires. I see your sigline, so I know you're aware how capable your hunnerd series is and can go as far if not farther than the 40 if you don't mind a lil body damage, and that hunnerd is MUCH more comfortable. 40's are not even close to riding down a trail in confort over a RZR... not even close. To make that statement means the person has never ridden down a trail, in a RZR, going 60mph, smiling, with @wngrog driving.

You let grogan drive you around??

You are a brave soul :D

He got that Robby Gordan edition long bed! Sumbitchlldig

He needs one of these..

dat's cool - I think you found the only way a 'busa motor won't kill you the first time. I have a friend who almost died on his - stupidly - he was headed out from a friend's house to pick up a 6 pack, rolled a bit too much into the throttle, hit some heat-slick pavement and woke up 3 weeks later with tubes stuck in him.
That said, I'm thinking "hmmm" that would be fun.... what would be even better - if I can find a wildcat with a blown motor, the cost wouldn't be obscene.

thanks Mace.

Actually I was trying to point out the ridiculousness of creating an "overlander" out of a RZR.

I have never been into speed offroad. If I tip over rock crawling-I tip over at like 2mph, no bid deal. As mentioned above about going 60mph, hit a tree at 60mph or rollover at 60 in the woods somewhere-emergency services likely won't get to you in time to help. I saw a rig at KOH on instagram that had lost it and when it tipped over at speed their was a large rock that hit the windshield frame head on, crushed the cage up to the seats. The caption said-"ouch hope everybody walked away." I would be very surprised if they lived.
Anyway, Im pretty sure the OP checked out of here.

Driving fast off road is a huge amount of fun..

Different strokes for different folks :)

prolly right. He got such a warm welcome. Brit is an awesome fellow. Mud would be better with him here. I don't even go in many sections much anymore, and was linked to this thread. Just not fun to be ridiculed all the time so I stopped posting in the main sections and just use the clubhouse area for the last few years.

This thing is sick, I would tear up Moab and the Dunes in this thing all day long. Those duratracs are probly a great tire for that machine. Its a total toy and can't go where my 80 does, but its sick AF. I WANT. IF I ever have the money to blow, I will buy something like this, GREAT WORK!
