My old 4BT powered 62 had the same exhaust setup. It went over the bellhousing and dumped out behind the left rear wheel.

Just looking at Stevo's build and realized that my current tach set up is not going to work. What are you guys with 4bts using for tach set ups?
Depending on how well my setup works, I don't see why you couldn't do the exact same thing. I should hopefully know on friday.
I should have thrown the spare ABS sensor in that box for you.
Can you make one? I don't know 4BT's, but on my Isuzu swap it was fairly easy and uses most stock parts.
Here are a couple of pictures of mine, for more go to my swap link below my signature. I have more pics if they would help.
Just an idea.

On your filter housing, can it be removed? That is what I did. The filter housing was removed from the block and mounted to the fire wall. A thick aluminum plate bolted to the block and plumbing was ran between them.
Again, I don't know a 4BT's, but I had a pair of 6BTA5.9M's in my boat. Cummins makes a remote kit to relocate the starboard engines (right) oil filter to the port side. It has a remote filter head and a adapter that replaces the stock filter so you can connect hoses. The remote filter uses the stock Cummins oil filter. Check with a Cummins marine dealer. I used Cummins Cal-Pacific here in SoCal.
Thanks for good words on my swap too.
Doug
We make a filter relocation kit for '98-'02 Dodges with the 5.9 engine. I don't think the kit will work for you but the spin-on adapter we use on the engine should work.
Look for a Perma-Cool brand part #1156.
Thanks man! You just keep saving my a$$.
I'm wondering if I can screw the adapter to the top of the oil filter itself. You know, buy two adapters, connect one to the filter housing and one to the filter and connect the two with hoses and fittings?
Is this the stock bell-housing adapter that came with the Frito Lays trucks? I think you'll need a starter spacer and the approprate starter.
