I didn't get many pictures on this trip.

Hopefully Mary Ellyn gets the chance to post some up (or you do it for her JP ;) ) since she worked hard getting a lot of good action shots on Saturday.

Don't you people use a hosting service and then just link them? Then you don't have to resize them at all. I use photobucket and when I upload them, they are automatically resized and I just flop a link into the forum. Just a time saving suggestion (and a selfish one since I WANNA SEE THE PICS!). I do have to live vicariously thorugh y'all right now, you know?

I don't use any of those hosting services. I don't really have a good reason other than it would just be another web site to keep up with administrative details and I have way too many of those as it is...

I don't mind working on the pics and resizing them to post, it is painless and easy IMO. I would post more but I didn't take but a handful and none on the trail since I was solo and bringing up the rear.

I hear you though on wanting to see more pictures. The wait will be worth it when JP gets around to posting them, M.E. was on the ball during the entire 7ish hours on the trail and should have better pics with more variety from the 2nd, smaller group - before JP wussed out and had to camp inside a heated cabin the 2nd night. :D

best choice I ever made; as you yourself said my name was a 4 letter word when I returned froming leaving ME in the cold and no gloves for an 1.5hour..... I could see when I returned I had pushed my luck a little too far; and the whole rallying the 80 up the mountain to beat the rover guys didn't help either :hillbilly: I figured it was time to reward her for letting me wheel here pristine 80 all weekend :steer:

we ended up at my folks place over in Maggie Valley; the cabing was getting croweded :D

Ha, ha. No worries, I completely understand. As I said, you really had no say in the matter. :grinpimp:

Yeah, that rally race to the top was a blast. I just wish we would have gotten a quicker start so that we beat Biff McGillicutty and Chet Forbush III to the top. Good times, nothing like getting a lecture over 2 way radios in God's country...

Somehow I'm guessing we were more entertaining to listen to than having to talk to each other over caviar and Dom. :grinpimp:

is that right Biff and Chet? (since I'm sure you've been reading this for the last two hours)
