Most of our current product line caters to the 100 Series Cruiser and LX crowd but I'd like to add more 200 Series support as the need grows and problems arise over time. Suggestions are welcome for additional kits/products.

As of right now I don’t yet have a 200 Series to play with but within the next few years I’ll probably get one for *ahem* research

In the meantime, recommendations are welcome for kits and custom tools

I'm baselining my new-to-me 200 and part of that process is all new fluids. Looking up the specs, Toyota calls for "SAE 75W Toyota Genuine Transfer Gear LF" fluid. 1.53L, for the record. My discount parts source is $53.63/Liter, MSRP at the counter is $81 What about this stuff is so special...

The TL;DR is that Toyota is asking $80-90 per liter for the special 75W fluid in the later 200-series, which requires 1.5 liters when changing. Ravenol 75W is now the fluid of choice, much cheaper, ~$20-25 per liter.

I am due for another change, but already have 0.5 liter in the garage from the last change, so only need one more. Amazon was out of it yesterday, so I had to resort to Blauparts.com to get it, $35 for one liter including shipping. And of course, now Amazon has it back in stock.

Don't forget the HPL option of 75W transfer case fluid. I can't remember cost right now, but according to the BITOG crowd it is good stuff and doesn't cost as much as the Toyota canned stuff. You would have to call them to order it though.

We've just confirmed that the Land Cruiser & LX door limiter reinforcement plates fit the 200 Series as well as the 80 series. Turns out Toyota sticks with dimensions that work. If it ain't broke, I suppose.

Added some fun ones today! These also work for the late model 100s with the 5-speed but thought I'd share with the 200 crowd first.

I've updated the seal driver a few times and finally settled on this solution:

V4 of the seal driver tool uses any 1/2" drive extension as a handle complete with CNC'd divots for the spring-ball.
I quite like this version.

20 units in stock as of 10.21.24 with more in production.
