I didn't see Raddcruisers on the list. Vancouver island, BC, Canada, John, 250-597-2500 and he's a vendor here too.

Updated the very short CA list!! ;)

OK c'mon guys, still have a bunch of states that have NO mechanics listed - surely there must be some cruiser heads out there that can chime in on some of the following:

Alaska
Connecticut
Delaware
Illinois
Indiana
Iowa
Kansas
Maine
Maryland
Massachusetts
Mississippi
Missouri
Nevada
North Dakota
Pennsylvania
South Dakota
West Virginia
Wyoming

Thanks,
Dan

Still looking for cruiser mechanics in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia. I just drove down to Fredericksburg from Maryland that is almost a two hour run on mostly interstates. There are clusters of cruisers in No. VA yet no mechanic recommendations on this list? Basically no cruiser mechanic coverage along the east coast south of New Jersey and north of the Carolinas? Really nice list so far BTW, great service to the membership.

Luke Bogner.... fj80luke here on mud
fj80luke@yahoo.com

He is working out of "Red 9 Fabrication & Speed" in Northern Kentucky.

Red 9 Fab
935 2nd Avenue
Dayton, Ky 41074
www.red9fab.com
859/292/7339

I have been friends with Luke for around 15 years. He is a great guy to deal with and does great work. He does general mechanic work, specializing in Land Cruisers. He worked For James Asty at Land Cruisers Connection in the late 90's and has been in business for himself for a few years now.

Red 9 fab is owned by Mike Karwath, who won the Top Truck Challenge in 2010. They do everything at the shop from custom tube work/scratch built chassis to selling aftermarket parts.

Nice big shop, very well equipped with some talented people.

Can you add Luke Bogner's info into the listing for Red 9 fab ?
The guys he is sharing the shop with are not really Cruiser guys..:D it would be just as easy for some one to contact Luke directly with any questions or for quotes.
You could also add this to Ohio. The shop is just across the river from Cincinnati, maybe 10 minutes from downtown Cincinnati.
Thanks
Chris

You might want to add Metal Tech 4x4 in Oregon. They mainly do fab work on land cruisers, both custom and standard, not necessarily mechanical work, though. They are a vendor here on 'MUD.

Metal Tech 4x4
1000 Commerce Parkway, Ste A
Newberg, OR 97132
(503) 822-1111

Eugene OR

Great up and coming mechanic in Eugene, OR. Fabrication capabilities, engine swaps, etc... professionally trained mechanic with a body work and finish professional for a wife. They do good work, limited experience w/land cruiser specifically but you can't beat his prices in the area. Highly recommend.

Review: Roger Is A Great Guy He Aslo Owns A Fjz80. They D Great Work And Well Not Screw You For Extra $$$

Sorry I took my FJ62 to them once and never again. Probably back in 2001 or 2002 I took it to them for a estiment on a ruff idle. Estiment wasn't free. Got back a three page print out of everything they found wrong about 6K worth of work they said needed to be done. Nothing that addressed the idle problem. One of the things they listed is the antifreeze was green when it should be red. I believe in 89 antifreeze was still green. Lots of dumb little things that didn't mather. This is a clean AZ rust free FJ62 that has never been in a wreck with 121K miles on it. Maybe they have changed since then, but I've never been back.

Also, you might want to correct Butch Baker's info.
He is an authorized Metal Tech Installer not Netal Tech

Lowell's Independent Automotive: Toyota, Lexus, & Scion Specialists

They specialize in Toyota, Lexus, and Scion and have won numerous local awards, but I've heard that they're a little on the expensive side, but they're another option for Kentucky.

Added thanks!

Not strictly an LC shop, but Jorge goes over and above to get things done right. I've let them work on my 60 a number of times and he always gets it right .... even cleaning up the desmog while he was in there doing something else. Reasonable pricing and top notch work.

Thanks for the list! Great info! Can anyone confirm that Dung Nguyen is still working on Cruisers in the Dallas area? He does great work!

For Mississippi:

Safe Harbour Marina (601) 829-1513
4269 Highway 43 N Brandon MS 39047

Ask for Myron Watson. They mainly do boat stuff, obviously, but he has worked on 3 or 4 trucks from the CLC guys. He has done wonders with 2 40 carbs and unfubared my dizzy install on my 76 40. He has a nice shop and when I was in he was doing an engine rebuild on a 73 LC40, definitely not his first. He was a Toyota mechanic for years and simply got tired of it (read has forgotten more about these trucks than I'll ever know)

He doesn't do LC work all the time, but gets hungry when the boats aren't running. Very nice guy with a fair price. I have his cell but I don't think I want to put that out here just call the shop and ask for Myron.

wish I lived in CA....goooood gravey that's a list
