I didn't think the main post was being updated at all that's why I started the G-sheet. Found a new mechanic in Marietta, GA. Haven't tried him yet but he does full service.

Sure, but the main post is going to be the first thing someone sees if they open the thread.

I know the main post is the first thing people see and it buries the gsheet. It is a problem but I don't know how to fix it. There are already multiple mechanics threads and I don't want to start a new one. Maybe an admin can make a call on how to address this or even if it needs addressing at all. I'm not a big social media person but any of you who are, feel free to post links to the spread sheet in other social media sites.

Where is this file and how is it accessed? I can make sure it’s front and center.

to anyone in northern virgina, i have a 1990 hzj77 with a 1hz. i've called and spoke with both Iron pig offroad and OTRAMM, neither will touch it because it's a JDM and it's a diesel. I just called Nova speed shop in Manassas and they WILL touch the 1hz, mainly basic maintenance, but i was told they will do a head gasket and a cylinder head change, but won't do it with customer supplied parts. i just thought i'd put this out here so nobody else has to call around so much.

This is so helpful. Thank you! How current is this list?
This list is an accumulation of post from this thread and input I have received over the last few years from users. I do not audit it but I do get corrections from forum members. If you are planning on using any of these especially if you will be traveling a long distance like I do, you should call ahead and confirm that the shop can still service you vehicle and that they can get you in and out as your schedule requires.

Are you the one to update the list? If so Oldenburg’s in North Carolina is now in Lawrence NJ doing repairs privately.

FYI. Over the Mountain Cruisers has moved. Not to far but they have a new location with a lot more parking and a much bigger garage. I've updated the Gsheet. Google maps didn't even takes us to the driveway last time it just gets you close enough that it you drive around a bit you'll find it. The shop isn't even clearly visible from the street but if you look you'll see a bunch of Land Cruiser parked down a longish driveway. Use satellite view to figure the last few hundred feet.
