Is anyone planning runs on Sunday? If so I might drive up Sat night and just sleep in the truck......

A group is going to drive out to 80 via forest service roads past Webber Lake Falls, Jackson Meadows Res. and Bowman Lake.

Thinking of driving out to the Sierra Buttes lookout tower early Sunday morning on our way out, anybody going that way also?
This is what I was wanting to do if I make it. Still undecided...

@GKCArmory

Tally so far: 56

Still need a number from the following people... unless you don't want breakfast!!

@PabloVTA

I'm out...
got a huge project at work that I need to have finished, and the wife said I cant bail on our 9th anniversary...

Have fun dudes.
I'll wear the shirt and crack a beer for ya.

I WANNA GO AGAIN! I WANNA GO!
Can't. "Whad'ya mean the baby can't take care of itself?"
Even got the rig ready to go.
Here is a glory shot of the premo campspot:

I am the Planner of the "MOACT" (Mother Of All camping trips). We are gone now. I was rather upset I had to work this weekend or I would have stayed for this event. It is crowded up there! I heard rumors of another event this coming weekend other than this one. I hope you guys get some good spots! -Todd

Tepui ( the roof top tent company) is putting on an event. it was supposed to be the weekend after us, but it got changed. Our group should be out before them though :)

Lol. Only one I'm skinny dipping with is my wife.

C'mon man what fun are you? LMFAO

Their website site has nothing about it... Not sure...

So is that total... 56. For burritos, coffee, muffins and fruit..... Thinking serving breakfast between 830-9. We will be driving in that morning so if someone could hold a spot next to the warm fire. It would be greatly appreciated. I will probably drive in and hang out for a few hours on Friday before I have to head back to start cooking..... :)

But at $225 for truck and driver to start, cant imagine they will have a great turn out.

Why would anyone pay $225 to play in a place you can do it for free..... :) anyway it won't stop us from having fun..
I stand corrected. Didn't see that. :) only one I saw was Hollister hills....

FYI- For any major repairs. If we can get the rig(s) to my place in Truckee, you can use my garage for a clean work area... Like I said, I will be leaving tomorrow morning and be there till Monday..... I will be checking this regularly. Or PM me. I do have a ham radio in my rig and will be listening in when I am in it... I just need to know the channel I should be listening too....

So I have a question... To make life a little easier does anyone have one of those cool chef camp ovens that we could use for warming up the food? If not no worries we can manage.

You people with your newfangled stuff...

:lol:

I'm more of the FJ55 era of camping/cooking gadgets. Just getting into the FZJ80 era...

I have a Dutch Oven we could use for heating stuff up.

Let me know.
