My 9mm shield would love some olive drab cerakoting! What else do we want/have in the raffle? I might be able to also do some $100 dollar gift cards from work, but i'd have to talk to superiors about that.

I'll bring a Neato robot vacuum for the raffle if I can find time to get one out of the stash and get it up and running.

I'm bringing back the two ipods I won last year. The :princess:s didn't get any use out of them since they have iphones.

I'm likely +1 for breakfast.

This is really awesome guys, thank you in advance for Saturday morning breakfast i do hope that we have enough space for everyone and let's not forget the group from Tepui will be there too. This looks like going to be an ultimate blast of a weekend and thank you to those bringing stuff to raffle off. I just check the fire restriction in Plumas county and it seems like we could have a bonfire as long it is in a fire pit please someone check if this is correct i could have missed things while reading and if it's ok i will bring some firewood left over from last year Pismo trip.

On a different note i found out yesterday that the 4runner's left rear axle seal is leaking and i just replaced the right rear about 2 months ago with a new axle bearing just to be safe,if i don't get this fix by this weekend i will more than likely to stay home since i don't want to risk break down far away from home. I will tag along on Sunday @Fast Eddy if i make it and i also might try doing a down hill with you if my knees permit.

Axle seals are relatively easy to replace. They're the same seal on every 8" Toyota rear axle, and one side can be replaced in about an hour. I think the new seals are inexpensive at Toyota, as well. The most time consuming part is bleeding the brakes.

I'm trying to get my front locker to work this trip ( since I thought it worked last trip ) and its still giving me headache. I bought a new plug and play harness from 12voltguy and got it all wired up. Locker still doesn't work, so now i'm assuming the actuator is bound / seized up. So, I guess the next step is dropping that out and seeing if i can get it free.

I must say the plate that 12voltguy.com made is rather nice:

Anyone got some tips on trouble shooting the mechanics of a factory TRD 8" Locker?

Heading out there tomorrow night for the weekend with my sons. Wish I could do it next weekend with everyone. From now on, I only work the first and last Saturday of the month.

I'm going to need to get a total headcount ASAP so that I can let @GKCArmory know how much breakfast to make,... SO, I'm going to tag everyone I have on my list so far here and I'd like to have each one of you tell me how many people are going to be coming with you. This will also give me and @KWalkerM a good idea of how many people are going to show up in case we need to make any adjustments to make things work out this year, and into the future.

This list is not 100% perfect, so if I missed someone please correct me. (also, remember to subscribe to this thread to get notifications for last minute updates!)

I think it also bears repeating what @DasBeast said before about bringing WAG Bag/PETT toilet stuff if you have it. We likely (hopefully) won't need to use them, but if the composting toilet near camp is getting to be problematic...

Also last August we were camping lake side in the 4x4 campground around the intersection of main camp road and the road up to little Gold Lake and we had three rigs in one spot. The ranger got all up in our grills about having too many rigs and people in one camping spot. They explained that due to the drought and lack of snowfall, the pit toilets were unable to "process" the contents so they were cracking down on the number of people per site. We showed them our PETT toilet/WAG bag system so it kinda took that arrow out of their quiver but we still received a warning to move a rig and people. We ended up annexing another site but they didn't hassle us after that. So if you have the WAG bags, bring 'em 'cause those pits are going to be nasty. There are trash bins in the main camp by the boat launch.

Finally reading the thread.......and "commie" @KWalkerM said no guns??!! What the heck!! Sorry I'm just too American!!! :)Does anybody know where I can do some shooting without scaring the commie 4wheelers! Or will the Sheriffs so up no matter what. or am I getting banned from the trip? :ban:lol.

Me plus one.

surfpig + 3

I am a little concerned about there being TOO many people at the site though...

Holy s***! Where did all these people come from?!? Think it's time to vote on a design for "Gold Country Original" Patches lol.....

Funny you say that... I've got some stuff I'm bringing to raffle off (nothing to amazing).
@pilotuku, are you doing ipods again?

I do have a few iPods and some Nintendo DS for the kids.

Also, I'll be bringing these as well. They're mini flashlights that could be handy for some, and also two iPad mounts that were supposed to be a nav aid project for an aircraft windshield.

I thought I have some more headlamps... Oh well, if I see them I'll take them.

I will most likely head out Saturday. I have a proficiency check ride for my license on Friday noon and that day might be a little tight.

Don't count me in for the breakfast, I probably won't be there 'till 9ish...

@GKCArmory, thanks for putting the bfast bash together by the way. That is amazing.
