Since I braved freezing weather to wash and wax I figured I would share with people who would appreciate the effort. Ice forming as I was trying to wash it made me questions wth I was thinking, but the end result was worth it as always.

yesss...

what is that sweet color? I'm thinking body and repaint this spring and that looks like the slightly shimmery grey I want.

It is factory dark blue metallic. It looks kinda different in various light conditions.

Need color code. Never seen dark blue metallic since my first one in 83. Dark blue, yes. Metallic, no. Looks like factory charcoal in the pix.

According to Scionlife's chart it is 8B4
Here are some daylight pics for reference and I love any excuse to post pics of my truck

And I love any excuse to see your truck! Haven't seen it with the lights, love that look! It's looking better everytime I see it. Nice work.

shnikies! the underside of your rig is cleaner than any single part of mine. I"m impressed.

Smokey,

Your kid is adorable.

Nice work! (On your cruiser, too! ;))

Thanks Mot- She is an amazing little kid. I have turned her into a little cruiser chic.

Wow, nice paint job! Now go get it dirty!

Well dirty is a relative term- maybe I should have said Dusty ;)

you inspired me. I spent some time today washing the 60. Looks much better now. Still pretty filthy compared to yours (I didn't do the undercarriage/axles/tire tread, etc) but ... cleaner. :)
