I so remember my very first time in Moab in the 40 - 4 months after I got it (maybe 3 prior wheeling outings in AZ beforehand), manual steering no less - pre-week to Easter Jeep Safari:Cruise Moab Trail #2 - Poison Spider Mesa
It rained most if the night and snowed a little on the cliffs over Moab

One of the first switchbacks has been badly eroded and was a little tricky.

the Blazers I was with chose Poison Spider - it was raining already when we started . . .
and then it became sleet just about at the ledge in your pic right there - "hey guys, you think I can do this, you know, my first time and the weather and all . . . ?"
"sure"

nevermind all these open Jeeps full with scantily clad young men in T-shirts were itching to get out . . .
and sure enough, by the time I had to go up Poison Spider Waterfall, it snowed . . .
