On the way back from off-roading at COTR, my cruise control would cut out on its own without touching the brake. I have not reliably replicated the conditions to cause this. Note that the CC light remains illuminated.
Also, related or possibly not, the "slip indicator light" (looks like a skidding car) has came on twice along with the alarm. Note that the VSC TRAC light did NOT illuminate, and the ABS did not engage.
I have not pulled codes or consulted the FSM yet, but I'll leaning wheel speed sensor...?
Next thought would be steering rack related. Mine is original as far as I know (334k miles).
The cruise on these is NOT vacuum, right?
Also, I have found others thread about CC randomly cutting out similarly but did not find a solution that I recall.
Scan gauge says no codes.
