You know you want to get out omne more time before it gets too cold. Highs in the 60s, lows in the 40s and 50s, what could be better?

I am in. This should be a fun one. Hey Bob, how far is it from your place ?

I am trying to get a feel for how long it would take to get there, from where I am.

Riad,

Crozet is about 90 minutes from my place - looks like it's a little SW of Charlottesville.

OK, So who else is coming? The weather looks good this weekend as Bob mentioned. Come on guys! You know you wanna go wheeling :D

I don't see any plan of any caravan. Didn't see any input from the BBRC guys. So I guess I will just straight drive up there and try to be there on time.

Looks like I'm out too. Unexpected guests from Texas are coming out this weekend.

Well, it was fun. It was more like heep outing though. IMHO Crozet is too small for 40/50 rigs to go in circle. On each obstacle the line was so long that it felt like forever. Met some good people. Heard some "pop", "pow", "snap" (axle/drive shafts/diffs etc) breaking sounds from all over the trails. I got high centered on a rock at one time and one of the heep guys tried to pull me out with his locked XJ but couldn't move me a hair. Then we high lifted the truck and stacked some rocks under the tires. Then I basically crawled/drove off. That was fun :). Here are some pix, nothing out of ordinary.
