nah, would just have to disassemble at Js. i mean...new carpet, new door panels and sets are all rdy to go in....but, its getting framed off at Js

I'm hoping this turns out really nice. I'd love to ditch my ratty headliner. I used a bamboo mat in an old beetle I had and it turned out pretty cool.

Reminds me of the interior wood end caps some airstream restos have done.

Something similar to the 70 series roof would be awesome, I started a thread about it a few years ago. Can’t stand that the 60/62 headliner is integral to the window seals. The perimeter of the 60 roof line is tricky, that metal is very uneven unfinished.
Wood, bamboo, Mexican blanket…lots of creative options.
Insulation/sound deadener would be important.
