Took the wife and kiddos off-roading over the weekend in our new FZJ80, and was pretty pleased with what we could do even without the soon-to-be-saved-up-for 2.5" OME lift. Lots of satisfying screams from the kids throughout the trip.

Since I had to put off the lift so I could spring for a more immediately important front axle service and new birfield, anyone want to help console me by posting their craziest pics of an 80 with a stock-height suspension going over/through crazy terrain?

Posers perfectly welcome as well.

Great pics! I'd like to try the Holy Cross trail, but may not be brave enough without the list (and probably sliders).

Nothing "crazy", just reinforcement that even at stock height the Cruiser is fantastic offroad and the suspension works well.

All these images are reasons I went with the ome stock lift.

Plus I can still fit in garages/parking decks:D

Had a quick look under, prior to a recent trip...some consider 2" lift as stock :D

This is inspiration for me to drop money on some 33" tires before a lift. :) Awesome pics guys.

get 35" tires they fit fine at stock height if you're not heavily loaded. I only needed to do very minor clearancing of the rear mudflap area.
