Gun Turret from the USS Monitor preserved in a tank that is slowly pulling the saltwater from the iron. If you’re ever in Hampton Roads the turret is located at the Mariners Museum which has many exhibits of maritime history as well as actual artifacts and whole vessels. Currently admission is only $1 per person and the museum is amazing.
Went there a few years ago. Pretty cool museum.

I stood on that when it was still on the ocean floor. I was a part of the big team that recovered it and brought it up, summer of 2002 I think. One of the highlights of my Navy career. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.
