There's a set for sale in the For Sale section for $100. Great deal IMHO.

Wow, impressive job with the birfs! Skilled tradespeople do great work.

Beno, using the knowledge and research you put into this, do you think it would be possible to swap the internals of a HF2AV case into an HF1 PTO case? I like the handling characteristics of the stock US case, but I think it would be interesting to run a hydraulic pump off a PTO case.

Onur, that sounds promising! It would be really cool to look into that more. Can you share the schematics? (I can PM you my email if necessary)To be honest Adam, I have put the schematics from both cases next to each other (the HF1A and the HF2A/V) and they are really, really close dimensionally. I just don't know without having each case next to each other and pulling them apart and actually doing a test fitment.
X eleventy billion! That said,I really would love to have an HF1A with the PTO adaptor section near the front input. It would be way cool to get that in an 80 series.

So Onur, what do you think the total cost to do this mod will be, (please guesstimate welding costs if that needs to be farmed out.)
I'm toying with the idea of participating in the group buy of the AA conversion kit. It seems this would be a cheaper alternative.
Do they both end up the same? (in terms of strength, efficiency (no extra gear loss?))

As far as I can tell, 36103-60240 is the part number for the front case of the HF2AV with PTO.
