Ok, from a 2007 thread you commented on Dan:
You need to remove the steering wheel and then remove the combination switch and replace the horn contact pin (84312-12040). Pin on ToyotaPartsDeal is all of $7.71.
Now what/where is the combination switch? Will it be obvious when I get the pin? TIA!!!
You'll see.... Oh CDan beat me. I replaced mine with a functional one from CruiserYards.

The turn signal switch assembly. The pin comes out toward the driver
Took a quick glance thru the window on my way out the door this morning. Looks like the horn pin is upper left near the turn signal stalk at about 11 o'clock?

A brass pin-thingy that is spring-loaded.

Remember the gizmo that shot out of that cheap ballpoint pen of yours?

Looks kinda like that.

Jeez, Landcruiser museum curator and amateur comedian too!

Got it changed out. Thanks CDAN! New pin was a good quarter inch longer than the 26 year old pin! That little clip didn't want to come off! Now the wait for the recovered steering wheel and shift knob to arrive!
