Literally my favorite 40 ever! Well done.
Where did the wheels, again? (Sorry. I did spend a solid 30 seconds looking back through and couldn’t find it. Figured I could just ask)
Thanks, man. The wheels are 17x7.5 fj cruiser. @cruisermatt made the rings that weld on for the factory hub caps.

What did you paint the doors with? Looks to be a dang good match.
I took a kick vent to a local paint supply shop and had them match it and put it in spray cans,.

Got the long range tank I got from @TRFCSUX installed last week. Had to do some seat mount modification but it worked out well. Installed the Tuffy while I had everything out. Also replaced the door window seals and track seals. Doors are nice and tight with no rattles at all. Its at the alignment shop now and should be done today.

Blending the '78 harness to the turn signals on the '70 dash. Also installed the horn button from the '70 to the '78 wheel.

Picked up a hardtop from @TRFCSUX a couple weeks ago. Today I got it on the truck and took advantage of the warm weather and painted it. Then scratched it up some. Got an OEM floor mat installed as well.

Yeah, what Bob said. It's the whip antenna mount.

I can only think of one person ...

That’s a very good match, I’ll have to do the same one of these days.

Do you mind to share your process?
I took a kick vent to a local paint shop and they mixed some cans up for me that matches the faded paint. Not a lot of prep time. Sanded the panel. Used a cleaner to get all the dust and oils off, then primed it. Put a fan on it and it dried fairly quickly. Then sprayed the color. Some areas are coated better than others. i wanted the primer to show through in spots. Then I took some 400grit paper and sanded/scratched it. I will cut it with a DA polisher and some heavy compound, and then polish it.
