I'm assuming that's the case. I cleaned and checked it before bolting it on. I didn't see anything unusual.

Took an early horn button that's really nice and hacked it up to fit the metal piece out of a later model center pad. Yeah, that's what I did. Turned out pretty nice. I'm sure the purists will frown upon it but oh well. I'm diggin it.

Rainy days means no worky for me, which means I can get back to work on the 40. That past few weeks have been spent finishing the fence around the garden and building my wife her 28x14 chicken run.if you are planning on setting fence posts and don't have an auger, I recommend the predator 2cycle one from HF. It was a shoulder and back saver for this old effer.
My wife was sweet enough to pick up the tab on these brakelines from Classic Tube for my work on her coop. She's pretty awesome!
Brakelines will go in today along with fuel lines and tank.

Today, I drove it, for the first time since I bought it in July of 2021. It runs great! Still things to do, like figuring out the wiring. It's been an awesome experience!

Ha! It's all good. I'm just glad I didn't sell it a while back. My dad passed away on May 7th and I just got busy and focused on getting it running and driving. He was always saying "you finish that truck yet".
