Color Question

This is advertised as being silver. But silver doesn't seem to be a 40 color for 76. Am I missing something? The fact that the bezel is black and upside down leads me to believe it has been resprayed. See you guys are teaching me lots...

Here is a picture of the offending bezel. This is the 76 in SW VA I am going to check out so thoughts are welcome.

Hmmm. Has a storage compartment right where mine does. Battery lives in mine. I've only seen that a couple times, both on V8 conversions, but I'm sure others have done it. There's also a bracket on the rear PS of this one that looks a lot like the tire carrier mount/hinge on mine - some once great 1980's technology. Any more pics?

Now that i see bondo it just went down to 2500.

Offer what you want but realisticly that is all it is worth when you got to do body work and i can tell it has been awile since it was freshened up if ever.
