The application is still being worked on and the pricing has yet to be finalized. We put the blurb up to let folks know that we're moving forward with a new venue and to save the dates.
As soon as the application is built and tested, we'll let everyone know. Typically we go live sometime in April.
I think people will be totally blown away by the new campground. I know I was. Wednesday night is crab leg night.

Who cares what it costs - it has a merry go round AND a ferris wheel. Now that's what I call camping.

To be clear, this is a TOTALLY DIFFERENT experience for us as well. It has been an absolute pleasure to deal with these folks so far. There are no extra charges for ANYTHING at the campground that is not coin operated. You can come and go as you please and take advantage of all the ammenities as often as you wish.
The only thing they ask in return is to keep the speed down and be respectful of others. Seems reasonable to me.

OK, like many of you, I'm trying to figure the lines on this trip.
Registration-$50. This is for the CMCC event and doesn't include camping. It does get me a CMCC t-shirt, a raffle ticket, and a Saturday dinner.
CMCC additional Saturday dinner is $20 for adults/$10 for children.
Rausch Creek-$35/daily for truck and driver access to the ORV park; free camping on the designated primitive camping site.
Rausch Creek-$15 one-time annual member fee.
Rausch Creek-$7 daily for additional persons in truck over age 16.
Twin Grove-$30/nightly for primitive camping (tent) sites. The "common area" is $10 per adult/per night, and $5 per child (under 13)/per night.
Vehicles stage daily at Rausch Creek between 0830-0900hrs.
I'm leaning towards camping in the designated site at RC. that reduces my overall expense for the event by about 30%; I'll have to drive to Twin Groves upon arrival to register for the event, conduct the safety inspection, and then again for Saturday's dinner.

the beer, the mickey bombs, and the wheeling is at RC...if I'm lucky, I'll make it over to the campground for dinner.

I'm going to camp where the rest of the club is camping, and if everyone is pitching their tents at Rausch Creek, I will be as well. But I will put in my vote for showers and restrooms. I have done my fair share of camping and don't mind a stint with no soap, but four days and I think we are going to be quite ripe on Sunday morning.
I might not have AC, but I will have my shower.
