my 84 sat with the motor pulled for about a year. when I finally put it back together, the slave cyl blew after about 30 miles. I bought a new one but just never could seem to get it bled right so I replaced the master as well. I can pump the pedal 3 times and it works fine as long as I dont take my foot off of it completly. if I take my foot off completely when i depress it it goes right to the floor. If I pump it 3 times and hold it down to the floor it doesn't loose pressure. It has yet to leak any fluid. I am not a newby to bleeding clutches and have changed both of these cyls on this truck and on my 79 as well without this problem. Is there a trick that I am missing? There must be something with the adjustment.
