Clunk noise when changing between D and R

Cool, I’ll start with that this weekend.
Here’s a quick video with the sound.
Ignore my dog at the beginning lol

That sounds totally normal.

I'll listen again tomorrow when I have my computer and headphones, but across my phone it sounds just like mine.

I think someone mentioned drive flanges. They can be a source of a metallic noise when shifting if they’re worn. Like an aluminum bat making contact with a baseball.

I didn't read the entire thread but can the OP get under the rig, rotate the rear DS back N forth and cause the same noise to reappear?

I have a slight clunk and when I do this test, my noise is coming out of the Tcase, toward the rear output bearing area. The gear lash there is a little more than spec, if I were to guess at 260k mileage. My sounds kind of sounds like a "TING" when I change direction of the transmission.
