Alright Ladies and Gents let get this shenanigans started

It looks like we have gotten an the unfortunate starting time of HIGH NOON.... which means this is going to be a very early start for all of us; I am counting on Marshall to have the Bloody Marys flowing early :grinpimp:

Lets get down to the brass tacks....

Location:
We have selected the location of CLEMSON HOUSE for our tailgating spot; two reasons 1. being it is free and has access to flushing toilets for the ladies that will be in attendance 2. it is right off highway 93 allowing for easy access. For those unfamiliar with the area I have attached a map (the "x" marks the spot) and also a google maps link here where you can find your way just enter your starting location (N Palmetto Blvd - Google Maps)

This what you are looking for (can't miss it):

If anyone needs help with directions shoot me a PM and I will get you headed in the right direction.

Time:
Seeing that kick off is high noon and the game is close to a sell-out Marshall and myself will be arriving very early mostly like between 6:30-7:00 am. So all are encouraged to show up early and join us in the festivities before the game. We will be leaving the tailgate spot by around 11:15 to head towards the stadium so please get there by then to pick up your tickets

Strategy:
This will be a BYOB and BYOM event, we will provide a grill and fuel for cooking. We plan to do most cooking after the game. The club will be providing our huge club canopy, a flat screen tv with dish network hooked up, korn hole, beer pong and I believe I can convince my wife to cook up a couple of her mean breakfast casaroles for those who show up early enough. I know myself and Marshall will be hanging around and tailgating long after game is over and I encourage eveyone else to do the same

Important Notes:

1.) Clemson House is FREE public parking BUT it is first come first serve; Marshall and I will secure an area for the canopy and enough room for us to tailgate, but I can not guarantee parking spaces for everyone right at the site. If you show up before 8am-ish you should be able to park with us otherwise you should be able to park in the vicinity but will likely have to walk a little ways to join us. Best to show up early if you can.

2.) Marshall will have all tickets on hand at the tailgate and you must come and get your tickets there.

3.) And most importantly the Hurricanes will be down graded to a Tropical Depression upon leaving DEATH VALLEY!!!! GO TIGERS!!!!:bounce::bounce2::grinpimp::beer::beer:

Okay, I believe I covered the basics but please post up with any questions you.... this is going to be a great time!!!!

CATAGORY 5 HURRICANE WARNING IN EFFECT FOR THE USPTATE is the forecast.....

Can you come straight in on #93 on gameday? Thanks for doing this. I plan on an EARLY arrival.
Maybe I can hinder youse guys some while ya'll set up.
One of my now departed friends told me the bloody mary he made with Pumpkintown Spring Water was the best bloody mary he'd ever had. He made it at a GSMTR. Remember JP? That was the year old Johnny made it up Trail #1 in his Toyota Van while someone we know rolled a 40 on #1.
Think I'll bring a bottle of mixer.

That will be one heck of a bloody Mary, Sir:cheers:

You should be able to hop from 123 right onto 93 and it is only about 1.5 miles to Clemson House then. If you are coming early like you say you will most likely be able to stroll right in!!

I might have my 3 for sale. I will let you know by tomorrow if you can hold tight. My boss might not be able to make it this weekend and can give me his tickets. He is on the upper deck, second row on the 45, so I can let the ones go that Marshall picked up possibly.

I'll let you know,
Jeremy

Well, it looks like I am going to have to bail on this one. Family plans have popped up again. It's been tough to make any long term plans with my father-in-law going threw chemo. Pretty much when the wife says she wants to spend time with all of us together I have to comply. The 12:00 kick-off really messed me up. If it would have been 3:30 or later I would have been good.

JP is working on using all 3 of my tickets, but if he doesn't need all of them 1-2 might be available if any of you need an extra ticket. Let me know as JP should know what he is going to get by this afternoon.

Hate to miss it, it's going to be a GREAT game. Will have to watch on the big screen and try to imagine what the energy must feel like. I might have tickets for the NC State and Carolina game, so we will have to try to have another get together in November.

Anybody want to carpool from Greenville?

Yep I'll be leaving my fathers house around 6. Bill if you want a ride up your more than welcome. I'm bringing the 40 with no doors so Becca has decided to drive her own car. As well she will probably leave right after the game.

I'm packed and ready. It's going to be a cold drive. If anyone just wnats to come and tailgate your more than welcome. We are parking in a free area and will hanging out way before and long after the game.

We'll be at lot 2, 895 come by on your walk in to the game.

Great TG, Horrible game. Net score for day 60%.
Good to see the Capt and his crew though.

Had a blast. Great meeting folks I hadn't met and seeing all the old faces. Such a great place to see a game.

Wasn't bad kicking JP's a$$ at cornhole either, not that I was worried about that :grinpimp:

Seeing that old video with the half-shirts on Miami's D made me think of this song.

Pitiful game from Clemson. Clemson really sucked it up big time. Made me wish I wouldn't have wasted my time going to the game.

I would have stopped by the tailgate spot, but my little one was wanting to go home as his ears hurt a little. He refused to let me cover them during the game so we left at the end of the 3rd quarter.

Glad you guys had a good time. Wish I could have hung out a little.

Just got back last night. Good to see everyone. Clemson is an AWESOME place to see a game, my second UM game there. I think it was a pretty sloppy game on both sides, but happy to come home with the W.

Bill, you didn't miss any good shooting on sunday. Spent the day chasing down an alternator for my truck and then installing. (Also, my vision was not too good come sunday.)

Again, my hat is off to all of Clemson for your hospitality, both from all of you who I know and perfect strangers.

Thanks for coming and bringing your buds. Made it a great ecumenical gathering.
I passed out from exhaustion and depression Sunday afternoon, I should have called but I kept thinking I'd come out of it.
Clemson out-stunk Miami. Miami was good. Best team won. Refs were awful.

I was looking at flights for this year down to Florida and then realized Miami isn't playing clemson this year. Bummer. I can get a round trip flight down there for 160 dollars.

Maybe next year?
