Hey everyone,

I find myself with five brand new Cityracer Wheels for my FJ60, sitting in the garage, waiting for the tires. My FJ60 has a Dobinson's 2" lift, and I'm now looking for tires. 255/85/16, and I've seen the Yokohama Geolander G003 on other trucks, but I haven't been able to identify any other tire brands I should consider.

Suggestions?

I suggest you get the Yoko's in that size exactly and roll with it :)

Been there and done that, and was extremely happy... enough to purchase a few more sets for other vehicles. The look, the ability, and the not-so-bad noise for an MT...

I know that maybe useless for your original inquiry, but just wanted to chime in.

Baja boss A\T, gives MT ish looks with very quiet road noise. Also 3 peaks rated

The Falken Wildpeak AT has recently become available in this size - if you're not after a mud terrain.

Im on my second set of geolandars and they are good, but would have swapped over to cooper stronghold AT if i didnt already have a really nice spare. 4 tires was cheaper than 5. The Geolandars are not quiet. no matter what anyone says. They are just as loud as the cooper stt pros i used to have, and the BFG mts i had before that. If you want a more aggressive AT the cooper ST Maxx is really good as well.

Interestingly enough, the 255/85/16 tire isn't the proper fitment for the Cityracer wheels. Even at 235, it can't be a 33" tire, or at least that's what the tire fitment czar person is telling me.

What gives?
