Chris Harris is easily one of my favorite car people of the UK scene.

It is good to know he is also one of us... ;)

Just watched it, biggest question is- that thing sure looks like it has AHC, but also has non LX style running boards.

They almost look like a slimmer Slee slider/step- wonder if anyone can find factory part numbers?

Cruisers did come with AHC in lots of markets, those are probably just the stock running boards for that market. I'll do some digging for numbers but bet they would be difficult/expensive to get over here.

I just thought it was weird that it didn't have the integrated running board like the LX has here, that covers up the AHC components.

Would look good on a LX IMO, but you're right- with shipping you could easily end up spending what the Slee sliders cost.

Loved it. He put in words what so many of us feel. And conveys that to the masses. The beauty of the LC has always been more about what it does than what it is.

Good catch. Looks like a top spec VX trim that has AHC and 20" wheels/tires.

Will we see cruiser prices go up even more now?

I've always enjoyed his reviews. He's nailed this one. Also happens to be the "best" vehicle I've ever owned.

Thanks for sharing, that is one of my all time favorite reviews!

The one word I've always felt completely explained my adoration of the many Toyota's we've owned is "Authentic", no pretense, no fluff, just solid build quality with a focus on major reliability. And the resale value is just unbelievable.

Love our LC!

Yeah nice to see someone mainstream gets it. I think more people got it as time went on. I remember how I felt about the GTR in 2008 how it was a ”soulless” but now that thing is more analog than anything anybody is making now.

Not so sure - that front end looks quite saggy.

I want the full leather steering wheel on his truck. I hate the plastic wood portions on mine. Can anyone help me find the part number?

Saggy as in it doesn't look level? AHC H doesn't lift evenly, about 2" F and 3" R.

Several things give it away that it has AHC. Video shows it operating at multiple ride heights. Console just gives a peak at the AVS damping dial. Under shot shows the rear sway bar in AHC configuration.

It's basically this particular configuration:

I want that steering wheel too, as long as it's heated. I also wish my V8 200 was a turbo diesel, such a shame Toyota never sold that motor in the USA

I think this is the part number - 45100-60780-C0. can anyone confirm this would be full leather, heated and fit a 2015

Agreed, I remember looking at the GT-R at a dealer new back in 2009 and I just couldn't get with it, something was off about it as a whole, it was soulless and they were only $70K back then. Travel forward to last year with the final years of the R-35 and I found myself considering one at a sticker of $113K and thinking that it was a bargain compared to everything else out there. For the most part it's still a simple analog vehicle which makes it raw and the closest thing one can get in a semi-exotic form to that of a GT3.

Its indeed AHCing in the rear, but something looks very wrong with the front end for sure. Looks like zero lift vs rear.
