Tunnel looks nice.

You do know that yous T-Case shifter arm hole will have to a bit bigger if you ever want to actually shift them, right?

Thanks D animal...and yes, I am aware the hole needs to be bigger.:D
Im waiting to get the seats in before I do some bends to get them set where I need em. Then Ill cut the appropriate hole for them.

Your progress looks great Keith!

The cage is almost all tacked in except the grab handles and the little gussets that go from the B pillar to the A pillar overheads...Those are a BITCH to notch, I FU*KED em up and have to order new ones.
Not quite sure why those wouldnt be at least notched at one end, but....

Not at all happy about that part!:bang::mad:

I think I did. I've got to order some axle side mounts first. Started on my cage in the meantime.

Where did you order the axle side mounts from?
I used Sky MFG. last time and LOVED EM. Planning on using them again.

Universal Fit Lower Shock Mount - Sky's Off-road Design

Here is a link to Sky's tab.
I like it cuz it has a stud attached to it already, and it fits nice.
Used it on my 60 and ill be using it again.

Actaully, there is a BUNCH of stuff on there that I hadnt noticed till yesterday that I might be dropping some cash on.

I like that mount with the stud attached cause that's how the stock mount was. I think I'm going to go with that myself. For some reason their site is blocked at work but I could see it from home last night.

That diff guard seemed pretty nice as well.

Keith can you take a picture of the A post on the drivers side where it goes in front of the dash. I was looking at one of your shots and it looks like it is pretty close to where my ignition switch is on my 70. I'd hate to order this and then have the A post right in front of where I'm suppose to put my key!

Thanks,
Nick

17 bucks for the pair is pretty good IMO.
Like I said, I really liked them when I used em on the 60 when built it.
They have a BUNCH O STUFF on there for us.

Nick,
That measurement is VERY ADJUSTABLE. The reason that is so close to the dash is for when I run my hard doors. When I fitted the doors on, the bend in the A pillar would interfere with the roll down handle. You could kick em out, back either direction, but for winter wheelin here in Reno...I wanna have the hard doors on, so the windows needed to be functional for me.
You could always OPEN the door to roll down the window if you wanted too.
Personally, I would have liked to have kicked the A pillars OUT more, but...gotta do what you gotta do. If I went any further back...same thing. The wife said I should be electric windows in it!!!!!
Probably wouldnt be an issue if you had the thin older style doors.

Awesome, thanks man!

Picked up my fuel cell this eve...
Not in LOVE with it.
Its the RCI 15 gal 30w x 12t x 9d...
May interfere with the seats, so Ill have to get the seat cradles made and see where it all falls.
This will run BEHIND the front seats. I may have to cut into the little step down from the cargo area and move it back some...
More sheet metal work!:crybaby:
