The mount behind the cats is frame mounted with the cushion on top and the exhaust mount above that. Adding spacers moves it up, at least in a ‘97, because it worked for me.Adding spacers only lowers the cats even more.
Actually tried that, it's worse because the angle brings the armor plate closet to the cat.Can you add spacer washers to the plate with the 4 bolts , just on the top to tilt it down enough?
It won't drop down, 4 frame bolts in the front position it.Loosen the slider and drop it down
I must be remembering it wrong. I'll have to dive under there and try that. The mount behind the cats is frame mounted with the cushion on top and the exhaust mount above that. Adding spacers moves it up, at least in a ‘97, because it worked for me.
Motor/trans mounts were replaced with OEM rubber prior to the sliders.what's the condition of your motor mounts? maybe they are collapsed and lowering things.
Theyre slotted a little. It won't drop down, 4 frame bolts in the front position it.
They're all new when the sliders went in.
Yeah, thats the plan right now...unless I can convince my boy to take it off again.
