I'm just stopping in to say that this thread (had I read it this morning) would have saved me the majority of the day on my back in the garage with the WTF's and the yelling and such. I finally decided to search mud after following the directions for my plates got me no where fast and was able to complete the install 30 minutes later. I wish I'd have read it sooner but wanted to say thanks for the come-along idea because I was just about ready to either throw in the towel or grab a BAH and start fixing it real good...hopefully the plates will make a noticeable control difference after an alignment.
Thanks again.

It’s been years already since this thread started. I am at the same exact place many of you were and about to BFH something out of anger. Getting to read several perspectives and solutions at this key time has cooled me down and given me a new approach and attitude towards getting this complete. Sincere thanks to everyone that chipped in on this. I’ve yet to separate from the thread and go do just yet, but I sure feel a lot better and now know how to correct the exactly frustrating and complicated part of my problem with plate install. Thanks again dudes.

Success!! Thanks dudes.

Mine has some major vibration now (didn't seem to exist with my previous 2.5" lift and no caster correction). Based on the threads I've read, it seems like it can be corrected with a front DC drive shaft.

Not sure what my caster is at the moment. I will measure as soon as I learn how (I'm a noob).
