Nice! Love the front plate. 
There are aftermarket conversions of these and 620 datsuns. First stick i drove was a 4wd 620. Almost ended up with it for first car.

Sweet truck! Patina-mobile, for sure.
My girlfriend's father worked for the school district in Michigan, and someone donated a Olive '78 2x just like that one to the school system, and he high-graded it and drove it for a while. It was seriously rusty at 50K miles and I drove it about 100 miles on a trip with her. I was impressed with the truck's feel. In the early 1980s, Toyotas were forbidden fruit in Michigan - you didn't own them, drive them, or talk about them!
The best part: someone painted a small Confederate flag on the roof, and wrote 'Gerral (sic) Lee' next to it with white-out. Very classy! This was when the Dukes of Hazzard was big on TV.

So cool how the blower motor is built into the heater unlike the 40/60 where it’s a separate unit.
