I'm looking for replacement radiator for 1994 Hilux Surf (KZN130) with 1KZ TE 3.0 Turbo Diesel, Automatic.

The part number I found is 16400-67071.

Have not been able to find OEM on any of Amayama, Partsouq, and MegaZip. MegaZip allows you to order an OEM one but upon ordering, weeks later, they say it is not in stock.

I have found the following aftermarket brands:
(1) JayRad from Savage Performance, is copper brass
(2) Fenix aluminum for KZN130

Can anyone advise on the best option here? I would prefer OEM but it seems that is not gonna happen. Not inspired by what I see in terms of quality reports from Fenix. I had a copper brass OEM but could not have it rebuilt where I live and now do not have it anymore. Made the mistake of putting a 1994 USA domestic petrol 4runner radiator in my vehicle, which worked well enough around town but well enough for any amount of hill climbing.

Thanks!

im not smart aśśing you here, but...

you bought a non market specific vehicle. that simply means hassle and $$$.
this game is pay to play.
i recommend you bite the bullet and call ron Davis or Griffin radiator and get a quality unit built.

Haha, no kidding, I knew that going on. I'm not complaining. I'm just stating what I've tried and asking for any recommendations! I'm on west coast of united states. Thanks!

Do you have opinion on Jayrad brand or, it looks like Mishimoto has an option as well:

Do you know how the quality of Jayrad, Fenix, Mishimoto brands is regarded?

Mishimoto has been pretty good for me.

is your current rad brass/copper? if so you might have it re-cored. pretty sure last 93 surf i had in the shop was copper/brass.

At one point, yes, I had the copper brass. I may still have it in a box at a friend's shop in southern oregon. It had to be rebuilt and wanted to do that, but, could not find a shop locally that could do it. Then I thought it would be fine to put a '94 petrol 4runner radiator in it, which was not such a good move it turned out!
