I know, it seems weird but I do kind of like it, especially in a 60 all packed up with gear
sitting in the back of a ferry .

Something like that would be great rigged off the roll cage in my FJ40.
This idea has legs, I think it could easily be converted to fit between two rigs even, or truck
and a pair of trees, just to get you off the ground.
If you had a wagon with a bed in back that would make a great place for the dog to sleep. Or just for clothes and stuff.

Anyone know how this is set up? Like what are poles coming of of, the bumper? This is what I think of when you say hammock and FJ60.
I stole this from expo - I think the owner is a member here too.

Is the first one a product or just a home made idea?
I like it a lot, but I don't trust my sewing ability to keep me suspended.
The one with the kid in it looks pretty secure (in terms of construction), but I don't see the visual evidence that it will support the weight of an adult male.
Really like the idea, though. Opens up the chances of more storage throughout the vehicle. That way it can be more secure than leaving things on the outside at night.
