My HP scope died. The power supply failed. I opened it up, 31 capacitors, uhg. So I removed them all and cleaned up the board. There were 14 1000uf, 35v caps and every one of them had a leak. You can see where it started to attack the board in places.

All new caps installed.

I have been working on putting this together. Almost done.

The RAM battery failed on my HP scope so it would not hold calibration. It would just load the baseline cal on power up which is ok for looking at wave forms but useless for doing any measurements. I pulled the mother board and soldered in a new lithium battery. Put it back together and performed a self cal, all better. These things are amazing.

I can certainly make one for you. But, my shop turned into this today:

Everything was moved out to the garage so I can finish out the inside. I estimate about a month down time. I do have one project that will be ongoing in parallel but nothing new right now. If you are not in a hurry I can get to it in November possibly.

I drive a 40. I'm never in a hurry!
That shop looks great already.
