I used one of these HP oscillators for years. It was a boat anchor.

Those Tek analog scopes will last a lifetime.

I think the oldest piece of test equipment I have now is my Sencore tube tester from the 1960s/1970s.

I pieced this together today to test fj60 intermittent wiper relays. This is the 90A04 version used in the later trucks.

I found a currently manufactured intermittent relay that will work for the FJ60, both versions, it just needs a short adapter harness to plug into the truck harness.

Stereo composite signal on the SR760, main channel 1 kHz tone (left), 19kHz pilot (center), and suppressed carrier stereo difference signal sidebands at 37kHz and 39kHz (right).

Just read through this entire thread, and must say "Quite impressive." Not only the equipment but the education and experience to operate all this stuff. Thank-you for your analysis and repair of my wiper relay/timer--most appreciated.

We are all very fortunate to have an electronics expert within our group. Thank-you for sharing a bit of the work you do !
