3 ½ Keys (3 button + valet + emergency original Lexus keys + 3 button white YotaMD)
Summary: I’m the second owner of the truck. I had the truck since 2005 with 10K miles. The truck has never been taken out for serious wheeling, only maybe twice since lift was installed. We do take it to the snow on yearly bases. It’s been a California car all its life so there is no rust. Its garage kept prior to lifting. 2 rear collusion accidents; one only requires bumper paint, and the other was a hole in the bumper caused by high lift jack (I made them replace the rear ARB). The truck has been meticulously maintained by local Lexus dealer until 120K then a local shop now maintains it. I have all receipts for all maintenance and repairs. No need to baseline the car as all maintenance is up to date.

Double-axle Swap Build:

Stereo Build:

Interior Mods:
  • Front Seats Reupholstered
  • Navigation System Full Delete; replaced AC controls with Lexus OEM.
  • Removed Lexus navigation brain, Levinston amp and cd shuttle.
  • Factory rear entertainment is still in the car but not functional, remote control included. DVD player still in the car.
  • Removed factory front cigarette lighter and aux power, replaced with 3 USBs chargers.
  • Driver side Scosche magic mount wireless charger (to the right of the radio)
  • Removed rear radio controls, replaced with 2 USB chargers.

  • Custom fiberglass bass speaker box on the rear driver side panel.
  • Bass amp located on the tailgate.
  • Mid/Highs amp located under the passenger seat.
  • Tailgate cover replaced with wooden instead of carboard.
Summary: Interior is in very good condition with no cracks on the leather. I’m pretty good about staying on top of yearly leather treatment. Smoking or eating was never allowed in the car. New Lexus front and middle floor mats, original carpet under is in still perfect condition. Steering wheel has been repaired (starting to wear again, no cracks on wood. The bottom of the right third row seat plastic part portion has a circular crack about the size of the bottom of a coffee mug. Front and back steering adjustments are not functional (auto tilt away). Limited top/bottom adjustments are functional. Driver seat lumber adjustments not functional.

Wireless CarPlay adapter just added. All steering wheel controls for phone and radio are fully functional. Stereo blows the factory out of the part. It’s clear and load.

Summary: Paint is in good shape for its age, there is some scup marks typical wear. The front driver door has been keyed by some crazy lady, for the most part is very faint visible only at close distance. Front fender protector and roof rack starting to show some wear or clear coat peeling. Lexus cladding is starting to fade. This rig is my daily driver and there is not single day I drive it that I don’t get a thumbs up from other drivers.

  • Toyo Open Country M/T x 5 38x15.50x20 Tires
  • Brakes upgraded to DBA 4000 Series T3 slotted/vented Rotor (I have brand new front and rear rotors replacement as spares).
  • Pads upgraded to Hawks LTS Truck/SUV pads from the Tire Rack.
  • New brake calipers, pads and turned rotors on all four corners as well bleeding all brake system. Done 7/8/2025 206,100 miles

Summary: These tires and rims are huge. They like to grab road imperfections. Surprisingly they don’t hum as bad. Lexus does a good job keeping the noise out of the cabin. Ride quality is way better than expected. Brakes seem to perform better than expected.

  • Radflo shocks with external reservoir on all 4 corners.
  • Bigger and taller springs design for 80 series LC with 8 inch lift.
  • Manual front and rear lockers cable controlled. Controller located in front of the driver’s seat.
