After requested, I decided to post up a build of a double Axle swap on a LX470. It was an incredible amount of work. Would be a shame to not post up the documentation of the build. If I died tomorrow with the info, nobody would know what was involved. Here is a picture of it finished below. ABS, Atrac, all OEM electronics are functional. Final tire size is 38x15.50 with tires under the fenders. I have a bunch of atypical builds like this that I did over the years with piles of pics on my computer, might as well just share all the info. I had some medical issues that prevented me from taking on crazy builds for the last couple of years, since then have been dedicating more time to the kids and family. Hopefully will be back into the swing of things again soon. Until then, here we go...

WOW. Please post as many pictures as you can of everything. I think I speak for everyone here!

Hope your health improves man and God bless!

I think you should post about 10 more times to reserve space and share any and all information about your swap. There are two others documented within the last year or so. Each example is just more lessons learned. I would eventually like to go down this route. Leaning towards a diamond axle front housing like the one slee built.

Looks like you used an 80 axle with a flipped radius arm and springs and shocks. Solid setup! Would love to see a write-up (or more pictures) on this! It takes a lot of work to get it all done, but once all of the bugs are worked out you simply just go out and enjoy it.

Wow! I don't have the skills to do that myself, but I love reading about other people doing it. Post it up.

Truck is stunning.

Best 100 thread ever.

That may be enough to tip the scale towards posting up the build, thanks everyone on the support. I'll create a build log thread by going

back in my pictures and explaining each step. It was a good year of development and working out the bugs to get all the systems to the

point that it could become a daily driver. If you are considering this kind of project, and are committed to what it takes- I can take a lot of

the speculation and guesswork out of it. I will continue to post up to this thread link as I can. Thanks Again!

That would be greatly appreciated!

First all the exterior parts were ordered up to prepare for install.
ARB Full Armor Kit, Front Bullbar, Side Steps, Front fender brush bars, and Side Steps.
Rear bumper was ordered with RHS tire carrier swing and LHS jerry can holder swing.
All sent to powder coating to be matched in two stage Orion Silver with Clear coat. To help prevent any rust, both outside and inside were coated equally. This finish was actually nicer quality than the original factory black that they came in.
