Cabelas roof rack on sale with 5 dollar shipping

In the Bargin Cave on Cabelas website they are selling TrailGear 2 Rooftop Carrier and extension for a total of 140 dollars with 5 buck shipping. Seems like a good deal for someone out there. Does anyone have experience with this rack? It looks lightweight, but they generally make decent gear.

I had something like that before and it looked ok on my Cherokee but it was way to small for a Land Cruiser

It might be a tad narrow overall at 39", but at least there is a 22" extension that will lengthen it from 43.5" to 66" overall. $140 total. I have no experience with the brand. Gotta be at least as good as the Surco.

I thought it would be too narrow too.

How hard would it be to mount on a cruiser if its that narrow?

its the same as the one from curt mfg just rebranded for cabelas they are ok for tents and sleeping bags but i wouldn't put a lot of weight in it
