Got the drivers side bottom seat cushion replaced today. Huge difference! Shoutout to @CaptClose for the space and assist.

Mileage is 205k rig spent a short stint in Ohio (garage kept and not there through a winter thank god), a few years in Vegas and the rest all in San Antonio.

And I can tell. Very clean and rust free. Looks like the birfs need some grease, but it's definitely clean. It has 50k more miles than mine, same year. That damn salt on the road...

EDIT: Where did you get the bottom seat cushion?

Got it from @mleichty ! They are also available at a few usual suspect online dealers

Got OEM plugs and wires installed today! Also replaced the rear lift gate struts.

Going through the rig @CaptClose and I noticed that the PS reservoir is different from a stock one, a picture of the lid vs stock is below. It also doesn’t appear to have dexron ATF in it as the fluid is more of a clear or yellow tint but very clean. According to service records the PS pump and reservoir were replaced a few years back.

EDIT: reviewed the records and the PS reservoir is OEM, PN: 44360-60172 replaced in 2017. Still unsure why the lid doesn’t say to use dexron. And I’m pretty sure that it’s normal PS fluid in the system, not sure if that’s a problem

That is too nice to molest!

Wow, thats a really interesting truck. Maybe the only gold 95+ 80 series Land Cruiser! And it looks like the PO did not cut corners on the paint job. They did all the door jambs and even under the hood! I think gold is making a comeback, it has really grown on me, I would love to see that truck with tinted windows, black wheels and black bumpers. Cloth and lockers is sick. Nice truck!

Name? I'd call her "UNICORN"!

Haha! Thanks man. The paint is not impeccable by any means but should certainly suffice till I decide on a color down the road.

I like Goldie Brawn. For one thing, Goldie Hawn was very good looking and probably still is but I don't belong to a country club in Florida, so I wouldn't know. For two, it's a great play on words and it fits the truck.

I have a gold '94 that I call Dorothy after the Root Beer Lady of Knife Lake. She lived in the woods up on Knife Lake in what is now a wilderness area up on the Canadian Border where I live.

The people I bought my 80 from were friends of hers and also Benny Ambrose and Verlen Krueger
