Kind of considering selling my old car. A 94 Volvo 850 wagon, simple reliable non turbo with rare 5 speed. Needs some work but starts 100% and runs great, new batt, great Goodyears. Could make a cheap daily driver so you are not driving the LC every day. I have to leave town for 6 months for work and i am taking the LC. I am on the fence about keeping the car or selling it. If anyone is interested let me know. does need some work but runs great for a test drive.

Pictures and a price? My father in law loves the old Volvos and he is without one now. I'll pm you my cell and email for more information.

Anyone have any trashed/garbage front seats for a FJ80? All i really need is the bottom seat tracks. I want to cut or remove the "feet" that bolt to the floor. I want to try to make brackets to mount a set of SAAB seats. Or has anyone seen a 80 in local junkyard? Trashed , torn or destroyed seats are even better.

I took a good Diehard Platinum out of my 100 and replaced it with a Group 31 battery. If anyone needs a good battery it is sitting in my garage. come get it and buy me a beer before Monday!

Looking for someone to do some sheet metal welding on the 1978 Iron Pig shown in my pic. Not looking for perfect, just patched. I would like to apprentice for this project. I will cut, grind and prep all areas to your expectations, purchase materials and will trade beer, pressure washing or other labor. The pig is road worthy but not interstate worthy so in town Atlanta or someone willing to come to my shop would be preferred. I'll work with you to make sure its a fair deal.
PM me.
Thanks,

would be interested if i hadn't just dropped coin on tires for the tow rig.

looking for (5) 17" FJ cruiser steelies. I guess i missed out on all those dealerships just trying to unload them for like $20 a wheel :( so keep your eyes peeled on craigslist or shoot me a pm if you've got a lead on a cheap set.

Not cheap new either... Can't tell you how many of those went to the recyclers over the last few years.

That's just a shame. Can I put a standing order that I will take any that you pull to save them from the scrap yard.

We don't do them anymore really. And the FJs are disco. Back in the hay day of the FJ (like 07-09) we did a ton of them. We couldn't hardly give them away back then. Now everybody wants them. :bang: If my crystal ball had been working I'd have a warehouse full of them somewhere...

damn! guess ill be joining an fj cruiser forum soon to find some

You need a lot more electronic gizmos in the woody before they'll let you in.

Don't worry, ive already started researching the average FJ owner my age. To prove I'm really one of them, Ill tell them i just removed the stock roof rack from my FJ so that i can install a new, much more expensive roof rack full of LED bars. Ill then ask where i can get my massive skyjacker lift kit installed and also whats the loudest tire i can fit on my 20" rockstars. That ought to be enough to get my foot in the door.

WANT TO BUY:

Cheap 22RE 4WD (preferrably) truck or 4Runner. Looking to spend LESS than $1500. Let me know if you guys see anything around.

Would consider other Toyota's in that same price range.

Need a DD/beater for when I sell this TUNDRA. :hillbilly:

gonna be a pretty tall order to get a 4wd especially a 4R but here's a 2wd.

Yeah I saw that one. I have seen a few 4WDs. Lots of 2WDs. Highly unlikely that I will find a 4R but you never know.

Most of the ones I have seen all have a disclaimer like that one... "Noise from under hood..."

If I have to fix a head gasket or put an engine in one 1500 is def not going to cut it. Would have to be more like 500.

Anyway, if you guys will just keep your peepers peeled for me I'd appreciate it.

Ive got a set of 66" Yakima bars that i will trade for shorter bars. I will cut mine shorter in the next day or so. But i figured i would ask to see if someone needed these super long bars before i cut them. I got them used and they are a little "funny". One is the standard normal 66" Yakima. The other looks EXACTLY the same but weight about 3x as much. It must be made out of steel. I think it was used on a work truck and it has a slight bend to it, a gradual bow. I just rotated it 180 degrees so the bow was "up". It is only noticeable if you are looking for it. Anyway, if anyone needs the long bars before i trim them let me know.
