1986 Toyota landcruiser FJ60 4x4 Classic SUV

The guy said he's had it for 8 years but it turns out I know the PO and he sold it 2 weeks ago to this fella. New owner says the truck is rust free and starts well on the first crank.

I went and saw this truck yesterday in person and it has atleast 4lbs of bondo over the rear fenders, both backdoor jams on both sides. It's in horrible shape and has a horrible paint job to cover it up. You can still see trail pinstriping everywhere through the paint and he pained over the door locks and windshield wipers.

Also when he tried to start it it took a lot of starter fluid to get going and the carb was exposed with no aircleaner bolted down. It drove alright but it's got a TON of bondo on it.
Guy also says it has power windows and they are obvisouly roll up in the photos.

Don't pay more than 2 grand for this truck. He payed 1500 2 weeks ago.

AWESOME!!

I love making sure these guys are found out, I’ve reported him to EBay, criagslist and the DMV.

I can’t beleive he’s doing it again, this new Ad even say’s power windows and there are photos of ROLL UP CRANKS!?!!?

I did. I’d pay $1500 for it any day.
You could part it out for that, so ya 1500 is about right.

6K no and what the hell is up with that radio mount.

While it may not have power windows, there are kits you can buy that will keep the OEM look but give you power (you just touch the handle slightly for up and down). I know of none for the 60 series, but a lot for old Chevy and Fords.

Either way in the East that is a 6K rig. In the west that is a $1500 rig.

To each his own. Just noticed you're in Ontario. I suppose that body doesn't look so bad in that neck of the woods.

That truck was on facebook for sale last week for 6k. My son in law was drooling and wanted to snap it up. Told him not so fast and it seems I was right. But in reality 1500 bucks for that in ohio if it is even remotely complete would be a good deal

I'll put in my $.02 for the "parts rig" concept. I bought an 83 a few years ago cause it had better springs, bumpers, desmog with a 6 in 1, and a H55f. In the years since I bought it I have raided it for small parts more times than I can count. I'm currnetly stripping it down and being careful about it since I expect I will eventually being either using personally or passing along to someone else who needs to keep theirs running. Not every rig gets rebuilt, but doesn't mean they can't live on.
