Got the hood installed with the lift struts from @c2dfj45. Really nice setup!

Got the brakes bled after I fabbed up a small L bracket. Nice to not twist the lines adjusting the prop valve. Old fluid was really rough looking

Having issues with the blinkers. They would work (have led modified flasher from @CruiserTrash) for a little but touching the hazard switch they would stop working. So I left the hazard switch on, and after 20 seconds the hazards work now but regular blinkers don’t… I’m wondering if the switch contacts in the stalk or hazard switch may be rough?

I thought this burned out trailer box was the problem and cut it out. Nothing changed though

Are you running LEDs? Mine is only screwy after I swapped the dash indicators to LED (the actual blinkers are LED). On my list is to swap the dash bulbs back to the incandescent. Worth a shot?

You’re obviously very well-versed in the electrical side of things so I’ll be following to see what you figure out.

I also swapped the indicators for LEDs. Maybe I’ll go back to incandescent for a test.

I have to use incandescent for my blinkers on my dash as well. The High beam needs an led though if you run LED Headlights and want it to work right.

Did you run led in your check engine light? My harness warned me it may stay on too. No high beam indicator with the Speedhut gauges I think?

My CEL is just a incandescent. My harness came with a CEL built into it though so i just pulled from the power from the built in CEL to energize the dash light. Ahh ok im using stock gauges. no worries on the high beam for you.

Outside of the illumination bulbs i try and run incandescent when i can on the dash because the leds are too bright haha

One project leads to another. The ADD never ends

The small driver side rear door window was busted when I bought the car and getting around to fixing it. The larger window was full of duct tape residue, as was the channels. All removed and cleaned. Tempted to replace all the rubber in here…. TBD.

Chrome removal continues slowly. One window at a time. Lower valence gets paint, as well as the window run/separator. Both were weathered. We don’t rust here in NM, but the rubber and plastics on cars goes to crap fast

Horn never worked, I think it might be this pin being almost nonexistent

Which headunit is that one? I like how its got an actual knob on it. My pioneer has touch screen buttons and i hate it
A volume button was a requirement! Not cheap, but I wanted wireless carplay, big screen, volume knob.

Thats exactly how much mine was haha

The volume buttons are the worst. and the bluetooth range is.... not great.
I saw your setup, and wanted it plus volume knob. I’ll report back how good or bad it is.

I wonder if you could wire in some sort of external volume knob. I think @Dubs2017 did something similar with a Bluetooth one
yeah I did a steering wheel bluetooth controller. Had to wire a 1/8" connector into the head unit to make it work. It is still a button for volume up/down, but at least easier to use than reaching over to the head unit. I too despise the extinction of volume knobs. Madness. Your audio gear is looking good.
