Excellent Build man.
We would love to have you along on our club runs and weekends.

Junction??....where do you guys wheel. I tend to lean towards the higher elevation exploring, a little cooler in temps and virtually nobody around. Do you guys run on the Mesa at all? i would love to run tailgunner, shoot me a pm of your 2012 schedule. Thanks, Anthony !!

Check out our clubhouse, link in my sig line. Runs mainly in Utah in the winter, San Juan's, Mesa, Uncompaghre, other points east in the Summer. We are based in GJ but most of our active members are from higher elevations. Looking forward to seeing that excellent rig.

Hey Burnt
I can't believe I missed this build. Just went through the entire thread and am REALLY impressed with your skills. I absolutely love the rear 1/4 armor/flares you built. My next crawler 40 build will get a similar treatment.

Sir Burnt, blown away by your truck!!!! What seats did you install?

I removed the original Scat seats as that is just what they were and went for the Corbeau Baja Suspension seats with heat......let me tell you it was a move well worth the money, they seats fit me perfectly....I am 6'1" 242 with a 38" waist and they fit like they were tailored to my shape.

Toyzz...thanks man, as you can see it took quite a while, but i was in no rush..today we go Snow Wheelin!!!!!!!

BT, now that you have had a whole month in the new seats, do you still think that they are wotlrth the $$$???

i must say they are well worth the money......the Scats werent in for very long before i had to sell them, they were very uncomfortable for ME, as far as the Corbeaus....absolutely worth every single penny, dont cut yourself short in this area, save a little more money and spring for the heated from them as well......riding the mountains by day is awesome with no doors, but when that sun goes down, hittin' that heater switch suuuuure is sweet !! DO IT !

Sounds pretty luxurious! I will do some research and search the net for some pricing. Did you go with the Corbeau bases or make your own?? Anything extra to consider, or purchase, with the wiring for the heated seats??

Thanks again BT! You have been a wealth of info with your build post!

KK.

Yes, they are Corbeau bases...the heated seats comes with all wiring,......pretty basic, hot lead and a ground. There is a round high/low switch with about 42" wiring, enough to get under dash. This is pretty convenient as they get pretty hot. I wired the lead into my dash switches for a "master" on, then the high/low down stream. They MUST be wired into a relay, which is not inclided. Trust me, they are sweet !! let me know when you get them in and how you like 'em.

Any pics of them? I'm 6'6" 190lbs, so hard to find comfy seats. Good lumbar?

the lumbar is an option but i didnt opt for that as they are lumbar heavy and fits me fine.......here are some pics
